The city of Sarnath popular amongst the Buddhist as the spot where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, which revealed the eight-fold path after His enlightenment. In Bodhgaya under the holy Bodhi tree Lord Buddha is believed to have attained Enlightenment. Vaishali is another pilgrimage destination where Gautam Buddha had delved His last sermon and announced His Nirvana.
